Mining company listed on Nasdaq

Canadian crypto asset (virtual currency) Bitcoin (BTC) mining company Bitfarms announced on the 7th that its application for listing on the Nasdaq Global Market has been approved. The listing of Nasdaq on the global market by a mining company is the first case.
Nasdaq Listed Markets: (1) Global Select Market, (2) Global Market, (3) Capital Market (listing standards are strict in order)

According to the announcement, the timing of the Nasdaq listing has not yet been set, but the final requirement for Bitfarm to go public is to ensure that its shares are compatible with DTC’s electronic payments and liquidation.

DTC (Depository Trust Company) is a subsidiary of DTCC, which is equivalent to the world’s largest “Hofuri” institution (Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc.). The listing process seems to be proceeding smoothly, and the ticker on the Nasdaq will be “BITF”.
