Citigroup considers launch of crypto asset related services = FT
The Financial Times reported on the 7th that Citigroup is considering providing services related to crypto assets (virtual currency).
No decision has been reached, but trading, custody and lending are all under consideration. Itai Tuckman, Global Head of Forex, said.
The move is based on the growing interest of a wide range of customers, including major asset management companies, in Bitcoin. However, he says he has no intention of making an immediate decision on the degree of market entry.
Citigroup has not received any comments.
Bloomberg reported on the 6th that Goldman Sachs will start handling Bitcoin’s non-deliverable forward (NDF).
